About Chicken Wing

Now serving up an adventurous order of Chicken Wing (aka Chicken, Chicky), so named because of this growing puppy’s lankiness. Chicken exudes a zest for life and happiness and spreading it to his family. He’s a very alert, smart, cuddly and playful pup; loves playing ‘fetch’ in the yard, playing with his foster’s large-breed dog, is intrigued by the 8 house cats and never turns down chew toys or treats. He’s potty- and crate trained for a workday and overnight. Foster is unsure if he barks when house is empty. He should be monitored with choice of crate bedding; he disassembled a bolstered dog bed. He eats two times a day, sitting and waiting patiently while it’s prepared. He rolls over for belly rubs, enjoys a brushing and is patient with ear- and teeth cleaning. He still has rear double dewclaws. Leash-training is progressing well as Chicken explores life beyond the foster’s (fenced yard) country setting. He shows some traits of a hearding breed by bumping people and finding hands, so placement with older or experienced children may be best. ‘Helpful’ with recycling; will chew cardboard and cans if left within reach.
