About Savvy

Meet Savvy! Savvy is a big personality in a little body. She’s opinionated, expressive, and isn’t afraid to tell you exactly what she thinks — whether it’s during a car ride or when she needs a potty break (she’ll even howl to let you know!). When Savvy first arrived, she was shy and unsure, but she has really blossomed with time and patience. She’s naturally curious about the world, though she prefers to approach new things thoughtfully and with a little caution. Once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate side shines. Savvy likes to act tough, but if another dog corrects her, she quickly reconsiders and may retreat with some dramatic commentary. She would likely thrive in a home with a calm, confident dog who can help guide her and build her confidence. She is very people-oriented and does not enjoy being alone. She settles much better with music playing and sleeps best when kenneled near another dog. While she protested kennel training at first (she has quite the set of lungs!), she has made great progress and now adjusts much more easily. Savvy is doing wonderfully with potty training and has had very few accidents. She loves affection and bonds deeply with her people.
