About Luna

Meet Luna, a young adult Beagle mix girl who is working hard every day to be the very best girl she can be! She is a polite, well-behaved, affectionate little companion who would love nothing more than to find a family of her own. Luna came to us from a shelter where she was abandoned with her babies, also up for adoption. She has been in foster care for several weeks and we love what we have learned. Luna gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats and is accustomed to visiting with children. She is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash, making her an easy and enjoyable dog to have by your side. She has a gentle, loving personality and enjoys being close to her people. Luna is the kind of dog who tries hard to do everything right—she’s eager to please, affectionate, and wonderfully well mannered. Whether she’s relaxing by your side, going for a walk, or simply keeping you company, she’s happiest when she’s with her people. One important note: she is heartworm positive and will be completing her heartworm treatment through HB Vets. Because she will need to return for her treatment and follow-up care, her adopter must live within reasonable driving distance of Maple Lake, Minnesota.
