About Duke
Duke is an approximately 4 year old neutered male German Shepherd needing a new home similar to the one he had when first adopted, which is rural with some land for him- even a big fenced yard would do. Duke is very well behaved in the house, no accidents or chewing. However, he went from land and other dogs to romp with to a single dog in an apartment and he is showing pent up energy and barking at other dogs onlead. There is zero aggressive follow through, but he is showing his pent up frustration with apartment life and leash walks. Duke is great with other dogs and adult cats, but no kittens. He will chase and potentially hurt little kittens. He is good with farm animals except cows. Duke looves car rides and traveling, loves to play in the water (hose) he's learning swimming is fun too, He has an emotional support opossum stuffie he brings with him everywhere, andwhen he bonds to a dog, that dog will be his best friend. He has the biggest personality and is a goofball. He is an absolute velcro dog to his humans. Duke does have seasonal allergies and needs $50-60 monthly meds 6 months a year ( spring and summer). Please email kladams4545@gmail.com if you have the home Duke is looking for... land or a large fenced yard, Shepherd experience, and looking for a shadow.
