About Jetson
Jetson just arrived in a rescue transport from Oklahoma, and Minnesota greeted him with a 10-degree windchill… he immediately requested a hand-crocheted sweater from the neighbor. This spunky, intelligent, and outgoing puppy seems to be a mix of Doxie (Dachshund) and maybe Papillon, Chihuahua, or Sheltie. His oversized, fuzzy ears give him the most expressive look, and his soft, almost rabbit-like coat makes him extra cuddly. Jetson is a playful little guy who also loves to snuggle. He enjoys being near his people and will happily follow you around with those bouncy ears, often right at your feet, just to stay close. He’s just as content curled up on a blanket as he is bouncing around playing. He is currently in a foster home with kids, cats, and other dogs, and he does well with them all. Jetson is about 8 pounds now, with a best guess of around 20 pounds full grown. We’d love to know what he actually is if you ever decide to do a DNA test! He is learning potty training, kennel training, and basic manners, but he’s still very much a baby, so he’s looking for a home ready for all the fun that comes with a puppy. His fee of $650 plus tax covers neuter, age appropriate shots, worming and chip. We do a 2 week trial on all adoptions. Please do the application at www.homewardboundrescue.com/preadopt
