Chewie has always lived with an older woman and is most comfortable in a quiet adult home. He's completely house trained, doesn't chew on things he shouldn't, and knows how to settle in and be a wonderful companion. He's the kind of dog who truly wants to be part of your everyday life. Like many devoted little dogs, Chewie takes his job of looking after his home seriously. He'll let you know when someone new arrives with a few barks, but if visitors simply ignore him and give him a little time, he quickly realizes there's nothing to worry about and relaxes.
