About Chewy

Chewie will be 4 this October and is a Shih Tzu mix Teddy bear who needs a new home for his loving 88 yr mother is moving to a senior apartment. He has been living in an adult home for the last 3 years but was initially raised with grade school kids. He's house broken, neutered and has the run of the house when home alone. He enjoys his kennel as a sleep space with the door open. He's very friendly and social but does not like to be hugged and barks with excitement when the door bell rings. He prefers lying next to his mom in the evening and occasionally watches TV! He greets his owner every morning and like all dogs loves attention. He’ll sit & sit up, shake (left handed lol), lie down and come on request and even dance a couple circles with a treat in your hand. He has a favorite stuffed animal he knows by name "Bear" and loves to play with him especially when he gets the zoomies. Normally he's on a lead for potty breaks but often is taken out for a free run around the townhouse yard that even the neighbors enjoy watching. Chewie will be missed by all that know him and deserves an owner that will embrace his personality. Lastly he really hopes you have a fenced in yard. Please email kladams4545@gmail.com
