A Little Bit About Me

Hi there! My name is Millie. I'm a sweet, silly southern gal from Alabama, now exploring Minnesota while I search for my forever family. I'm a 2 year old, 50 pound bundle of love. Back in Alabama, I raised a litter of adorable puppies, and now it’s my turn to be someone's baby! I lived with three foster dogs down south, so I’m good with siblings, but up here in Minnesota, I’m the only pup, and I’ve been enjoying that too. I'm a playful girl who loves a good game of fetch, chewing my favorite toys, and rolling around in the grass like a true outdoorswoman. I enjoy playing solo sometimes, but I really like my people nearby and am happiest when I can flop down for a nap on the couch. I'm also really good in my crate if you have to leave. I'm a little shy meeting new folks, but treats and play help me warm up fast. I sleep great in my crate (I like it in my foster parents' room at night), and I'm fully potty trained. I'm also a top-notch walking buddy—whether it's a sniffy stroll or a power walk, I'm ready to explore! I'm intelligent and eager to please, so training has been going really well. I'm learning all the important things like sit, stay, and drop. I try SO hard to get it right, so gentle reminders and lots of praise help me feel confident. Because I'm a playful girl who sometimes forgets my size, I'd do best in a home with kids over 8 years old and no small animals like cats or bunnies, just to be safe. I'd love a home with active humans who like walks, hikes, playtime, and giving endless snuggles, kisses, and butt scratches (trust me, you'll know when you hit the right spot!). Everyone who's loved me says I'm a truly special dog with a huge heart. I've been cherished every step of my journey, and now I'm ready to share that love with my forever family. So what do you say?
