A Little Bit About Me

BT (aka Betty) is 38lbs and a recent surrender due to a deployment. She is just turning 2 years old, and a consummate observer of life. If you are looking for a young adult who is smart and low maintenance, this might be your dream dog. She's quiet, house trained, has no issues with separation anxiety (that her foster mom has witnessed) and enjoys leisurely naps in the grass on spring afternoons. She's nervous of new people and homes for a few days, but settles in as trust is built. She isn't a lap dog, but rather prefers to lay on the floor near you. She is fostered with another dog and is comfortable taking a submissive role in the pack order. Her coat is a beautiful brindle and her brown eyes are windows to her sweet soul. She enjoys a good bath and wags her entire back half when she's really happy. She needs a fenced yard, but so far doesn't require daily walks, although we are working on leash training.
