A Little Bit About Me

Penny is a 3 year old petite boxer/lab mix weighing about 38 lbs. She is a shy, timid girl looking for a quiet home with a confident, patient person that can build her trust. She enjoys getting attention and being told what a ‘good girl’ she is. Penny loves to run and requires a yard with a minimum 5 ft. fence. Loud noises (thunder, fireworks, etc.) are stressful for her and she will run or hide anytime she is frightened. Penny would do well as an only dog. She can be easily overwhelmed in a group (no dog parks) and prefers to play with a submissive male dog about her size or larger. She is too rough with cats, so no small animals for her, including small dogs. Penny is reliably house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and crates well for the workday. Her crate is her safe place.
