A Little Bit About Me

Gus is a young adult neutered male German Shepherd/Retriever type mix with a really stable, happy, friendly personality. He is reliably house-trained, crate-trained, and used to cats, dogs and kids. He greets new people happily and has a silly side he likes to show with his toys. Gus LOVES walks, and he is strong. His prior owners worked a lot with manners and training and it shows. He is being rehomed due to needing a fenced yard or someone committed to long daily walks or park time where he can safely burn some energy. Gus also lovees the beach. He is not reliable off-leash, and if he can get out an open door he takes himself on an exploratory walk. This can be worked with and regular walks make a huge difference.
