Cricket is a young adult female Rat Terrier/Border Collie mix with the brains, energy, drive and naughty streak that comes from this mix. Cricket is a young adult female Rat Terrier, 22 pounds and leggy, and so pretty. This little girl has a heartbreaking story, and some behaviors associated with it. It was caught on video of her owner pulling up into a gas station parking lot, shoving her out of the truck, and speeding away while she chased after the truck as fast as her little legs would carry her. This dog could not understand why she was abandoned and was sure she was supposed to catch up. Scared and alone, she finally gave up, and was found and brought to a shelter. Cricket is HIGH energy, loyal as can be, good with other dogs and people. She needs an adopter to do daily exercise, work that active mind of hers, and give her some boundaries. She is not an apartment dog. For whoever puts that investment of time and love into her, you are going to have one of the best dogs ever.
