Mastiff Mix
About Tallulah
Tallulah is a 4 year old, 100 pound Mastiff mix who is a giant scaredy cat with a huge heart. This gentle girl is happiest in a calm, quiet home where she can lounge on the couch, sunbathe, and play in a yard. She is currently very much enjoying leash walks and does know how to use a dog door as well. She sure makes herself right at home on the couch. Tallulah is well house trained, loves her crate as a secure and comfortable space, and rarely barks. We know based on her microchip that she was in an apartment for most of her life. She is afraid of some men, absolutely adores some. She is nervous with new dogs and although tolerant, she avoids them when possible and would probably do best in a home with a calm older male dog, or as a single. She is respectfully living with a cat right now. When she gets scared, she tries to bolt for home, so needs an adopter strong enough to manage her on leash if she gets scared. She's a homebody at heart, a goofy companion dog looking for love. Lula loves her toys and is puppy like when she plays with them. It appears as though she previously broke her pelvis and it healed on it's own. Her back legs are a bit wobbly. This could potentially be corrected with surgery in the future, but right now she is pain free and runs like the wind when she is playing. Please email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions.
