Mastiff Mix
About Tallulah
Tallulah, a locally rescued Mastiff mix, has some adoption hurdles, but she also has some adoption highlights she'd like us to share. This gentle giant is the biggest soft hearted marshmallow you will ever meet, and really loves being home, familiar space, and routines. That being said, she loves her walks and does very well on them, although requires a walker stable enough to hold her leash steady if something scares her. She is very well house trained, loves to chew and play with her toys, and acts like a puppy when she's happy. She is positive the couch is just her size and loves to nap on chairs and couches. Tallulah has hip dysplasia already, and it shows up in her gait ( she waddles a little) and enjoys running. She also does steps easily. For right now, we are doing joint supplements, keeping her weight down, and continuing walks to keep her muscle mass steady. She may need pain meds as she ages, but at 4 years old, she's doing just fine now. We figure someone out there has a soft spot for a damaged yet joyful big dog with a marshmallow heart.
