About Bumble

Bumble is a solid bodied four-year-old German Shepherd and Akita mix ( best guess) with a dopey, sweet, loving personality. This dog has definitely had someone put training time into him in the past and we wish we knew what happened. He came to us missing some hair, likely from allergies that we are working with and he is on a low-dose thyroid medication that runs about $30 a month. He also came to us very reliably house trained, walks like a dream on the leash, and knows more commands than most of our own dogs. He crates very well when left alone and respects a baby gate. Bumble absolutely loves food and would sell his soul for treats. He’s fostered with dogs ranging from Chihuahua to lab size, and also lives with cats. He sometimes will give one of the cats a side eye, but has never made an attempt to hurt it. We also very rarely hear him bark One of his favorite games is gently mouthing your hands while you wrestle with his head, or bringing a giant rope toy to drop in your lap. He loves car rides and rides very well. We’re looking for a home with a yard and somebody who loves to go for walks because that’s his favorite time of day.
