A Little Bit About Me

Gilbert is a male Terrier mix who is playful, fun, social, and does well with new people. He is good with most other dogs, and is cat tolerant. Gilbert is house trained and crate trained. He does absolutely need a home with dog experience who can set some boundaries and enforce them, as he likes to test limits and will resource guard items he considers his... bones, human food, etc. If he is with someone who gets after him, he respects that and the behavior discontinues. If he is allowed, he continues with worsening behaviors. He needs someone who knows Terriers and can be firm when needed. Once the boundaries are established, he relaxes into a joyful, fun, easy dog. His fee of $450 plus tax covers neuter, shots, heartworm test, worming and chip. We do have a 2 week trial for all dogs.
