A Little Bit About Me

Atticus is a middle aged to senior mixed breed, about 45 pounds, who has a tough past but he sure doesn't show it. Atticus came from Mexico and was badly hurt, left to heal on his own. He had a broken pelvis and broken leg that healed on it's own. He is pain free, but sometimes moves a little funny as the bones healed together at different lengths. Maybe that's why he enjoys a soft bed and a warm loving home so very much. He is always happy. He loves to chase the squirrels and enjoys watching the birds at the bird feeder. He doesn’t bark or growl at the birds, he just sits on the couch and watches them like it's dog TV. He likes to lay on the couch and will cuddle with you if you invite him. He loves to sleep in bed with his fosters as well, no matter how little space there is- there is always space for him, in his opinion. Atticus is a smart dog who responds very well to training. He enjoys other dogs, meeting people, and plays well with others. He is well house trained and crates when alone, although is graduating to more free reign then also.
