Meet Junebug, aka Junie – your little firecracker with the biggest heart 💕 Born in June 2023, Junie is a 35-pound boxer mix who is short, lean, and packed with personality. Don’t let her compact size fool you — this girl is athletic, adventurous, and always ready for whatever fun the day brings. Junie is wonderful with other dogs and absolutely loves kids. She thrives on attention, playtime, and being part of the action. She has met a cat and tends to chase in an effort to play, so any feline friends would need to be confident and dog-savvy. She’s both crate trained and house trained, rides beautifully in the car, and makes an excellent adventure buddy. Junie would happily run alongside a bike for exercise and would love an active home that can keep up with her energy. She also has a surprisingly impressive vertical — she can clear a 5-foot chain link fence — so she will need a taller, secure fence or to be safely managed on a leash or tie-out when outside. Junie is a proud parvo survivor, which just proves how strong and resilient she is. That strength is balanced by her sweet, snuggly side. After a good workout or a day of exploring, she’s more than ready to curl up next to you for a movie night. And we can’t forget her voice — Junie has the cutest, quirkiest barks and tiny howls that somehow come out of this small body. It’s part of her charm and guaranteed to make you smile.
