About Belle

Do you like spicy AND sweet? Meet Belle, a 3 year old Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix, a petite little girl full of charm and sillies and playful energy who also can ne protective of her bed and crate if allowed, so needs an adopter willing to set some boundaries and work with her on this. She is doing so very well in her foster home because when she got protective, beds got taken away, and she earned them back. We also leave her be when she is in her crate, and that IS her space. Belle is doing well with house training, not yet 100% and she does best when someone goes outside with her. She absolutely loves wrestle play and rowdy play with other dogs, is fine with cats, and is personable and friendly to new people coming in. Belle loves sitting on your lap and cuddles also. She has the spunky energy of a puppy and needs an adopter who appreciates that. If allowed, Belle will push boundaries, but if she has a home that truly enforces them, she respects them well. She is not ideal for an apartment, she is used to a home with a yard.
