About Abby

Abby has been through more than any dog should have to endure, and yet she continues to greet the world with a wagging tail and a gentle heart. 💛🐾 This young Lab mix, estimated to be around 1–2 years old, arrived at an overcrowded shelter pregnant and did her best for her puppies. Sadly, despite her efforts, her babies didn't survive. Through all of it—the noise, the stress, the constant activity of shelter life, people coming and going, and dogs all around her—Abby has remained remarkably sweet, calm, and friendly. She has been wonderful with people of all ages, has done great with other dogs, and has shown nothing but a cheerful, docile personality. We don't yet know if she's house trained, but we do know she's ready for a chance to simply be someone's dog. We're hoping to find a foster or adopter for Abby this weekend so she has a soft place to land when she arrives. After everything she's been through, she'd love a comfy bed, a little stability, and people who will show her that her best days are still ahead.
