**Red is a courtesy post for his owners** Red “Red Furman” – Loyal, Strong, and Needs an Experienced Home Red is a 6-year-old, 100 lb dog with a striking red coat and a big personality to match. True to his name, he can be a bit of a “Red Furman,” but he is also deeply loyal and affectionate with his people. Red loves to be close to his humans and is a true snuggler. He forms strong bonds and enjoys being part of the household. One of his favorite things is stretching out on a comfy couch in the sunshine and relaxing near his people. He is also fully house trained and excellent in his kennel. He settles well, stays quiet, and does not bark while kenneled. Red will do best with an experienced owner who is familiar with strong, powerful breeds and can provide consistent structure, clear boundaries, and confident leadership. Best fit for Red: Only pet home (no other dogs or animals) Home with older, dog-savvy children or adults Someone comfortable managing a large, strong dog A structured environment with routine and clear expectations Behavior considerations: Has shown reactivity and aggression toward other dogs, including past incidents Can be territorial and needs careful management in new environments Has lived with children and has done well with older kids, but may not always want engagement and has shown discomfort with younger children, so a home without small children is recommended Red would thrive in a calm, stable home where he can build trust and have clear guidance.
