A Little Bit About Me

Elsa surprised us by not being a Chihuahua at all... she's a mid size, very friendly, well behaved middle aged mixed breed. She is about 25 pounds and 16 inches at the shoulder, so just taller than a Beagle. Elsa is reliably house trained, enjoys playing with the other friendly dogs, gets along great with cats. She is tolerant of kids but prefers an adult home, which is what she was used to. She is polite and friendly meeting strangers, and so far has been good as gold with us. Initial meets can cause a little shyness, she is well mannered but not a dog who will immediately approach someone new. She's been quiet in foster with us and really loves having canine company, so her new home should have another dog and a fenced yard or dog park time, as she loves to run and play. This good girl is a great first time dog or dog for someone needing relatively easy and well-behaved, but wanting something who enjoys walks and play as well as bed cuddles.
